What shall i do? i dont want to live at home anymore and im probably will fail and not get to uni?

i am arty...so could do something with that...but i also want to work in something people orientated...like helping people...i just want some freedom now aswell, i dont want to be at home anymore, im nearly 19. what can i do? be a tramp? hmm maybe not. but seriously i dont know what to do. if i did an art foundtaion year, would i get grants like for uni and be able to pay for accomodation?
