Yes, you are correct. I am a Christian and here is my belief. First off I believe the VERY ORIGINAL text was without error and God-inspired. Since that time minor errors by humans who have continued copying the texts are included today. It's human nature and it will happen; I believe very little error has been made in the text since was origily written. The 24,000+ ancient mcripts there are of the Bible allow theologians to cross-examen for accuracy. That is when you here the numbers such as 98% textually pure without error.
